In Mukachevo, a minor threatened a man with weapon (PHOTOS)

Last night, an unknown young man attacked a 47-year-old man from Mukachevo threatening him with a pistol-like object and demanding the keys to his car. After the victim refused, he hit the victim on the head and body and fled. 
Mukachevo police responded immediately to the call. At the crime scene, they inspected the area, watched the footage from external surveillance cameras, which were placed along the route of the attacker’s movement, interrogated probable witnesses of the incident and neighbors. The next day, the police found out that a 17-year-old resident of the city was involved in the crime. The young man had already been prosecuted and repeatedly came under police scrutiny. 
Currently, the case is under pre-trial investigation. The investigator of the Mukachevo police, with the prosecutor’s approval, indicted the young man on the charges of robbery, which is provided for in Part 1 of Art. 187 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The police confiscated the air pistol that the young man was threatening the victim with. The origin and purpose of the weapons will be established by law enforcement officers during the investigation. The choice of pre-trial restraint against him is being decided, the official website of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region reported.
