An employee of a gas station called the police. The man told that one of the customers of the gas station had attacked him for unknown reasons. According to the victim, the attacker initially cursed and threatened him, and then took a bat from his car and tried to inflict injuries with it.
– I managed to get inside and locked the door, after which the unknown man got into his car and left, – the employee of the gas station said.
Fortunately, the victim was struck only once to the arm, but the inadequate behavior of the young man alerted him, so he immediately pressed the alarm button. He described the attacker to the police officers and said that he was driving a gray car with foreign registration.
In 30 minutes, not far from the scene, the policemen noticed a man matching the description.
The policemen came up to the suspect to clarify the circumstances of the situation and to identify him. During the conversation, the man confessed to the crime. When the police officers asked the perpetrator to go to the police station to explain he actions, he rudely refused and began to behave aggressively against the law-enforcers.
To stop the offense, according to Art. 44, 45 of the Law "On the National Police", the police office had to use physical force and handcuff the aggressive man. It was a 26-year-old local resident.
The offender was taken to the local police station to find out the circumstances of the incident and make the appropriate procedural decision. Currently, the verification is ongoing.
