In connection with the death of a native of Mizhhirya, junior sergeant Oleksandr Ihnatyshyn during a combat mission in the territory of the antiterrorist operation, 26, 27 and 28 of November are declared Days of mourning in Mizhhirya district.
The order "On announcement of Days of mourning in Mizhhirya district" was signed by the leaders of the district – the acting Head of the District State Administration V. Markovich and the Chairman of District Council I. Yarema.
"As a sign of mourning for the victim, during the Days of mourning, the State Flag of Ukraine on administrative buildings of local government and executive authorities, utility companies, government agencies and organizations in the district shall be at half-mast with a mourning ribbon. Executive committees of Mizhhirya town and village councils of the district shall cancel entertainment and concert events and sports competitions during the Days of mourning," – the document states.
The funeral of Oleksandr Ihnatyshyn will take place today … Our condolences to the family and friends… Heroes do not die!
