In Mizhhirya district, the contractor has commenced the medium repair of the district highway "Potik – Shypit", which leads to the waterfall "Shypit". This is a continuation of the repair of the road "Pylypets – Potik", which began last month. Many people use the road because the waterfall is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Transcarpathia, the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs. However, there has been no solid asphalt there for decades, so tourists were constantly complaining the poor state of the road. Now the contractor is laying the starting layer of asphalt. After the repair, a significant increase in the number of tourists is expected. The source of work financing is the Road Fund.
