On November 19, 2020, Honored Artist of Ukraine, leading actor of the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after the Sherehiy brothers Anatoliy Matsak passed away at the age of 71 following a battle with a serious illness.
Anatoliy Mykolayovych was born on May 23, 1950 in the village of Naberezhne, Hlobyne district, Poltava region. He graduated from the Kyiv Republican Studio of Variety and Circus Art in 1973 with a degree in Vocal Variety Artist. He gained his first stage experience in the Zaporizhzhya, Chernihiv and Stavropol Philharmonics.
From 1975 until his last day, he worked at the Transcarpathian Drama Theater, where he played more than fifty leading roles. His wife Rosalia also gave her best years to the largest theater in Transcarpathia as an actress and choreographer.
In 2017, the actor received the regional Sherehiy Brothers theater award.
