A memorial plaque to junior sergeant Zoltan Balazh, who was tragically killed on July 18 last year, near occupied Horlivka, has been installed on the facade of the school №2 in the village of Korolevo in Vynogradiv district of Transcarpathian region" – the Transcarpathian Legion reported.
The event was attended by school pupils and teachers, representatives of local authorities, clerics and Zoltan’s brothers in arms, who unveiled the plaque in his memory.
"When he found out about the problems at the front, he voluntarily entered into a contract and went to war. He proved to be a true son of his people and a soldier… We opened the memorial plaque so that the village remember that they have true sons, who do not run abroad, do not hide behind influential parents, and can work for the benefit of their family and their people, ready to take arms and defend their land", – Father Ivan Isayovich, godfather of Zoltan, said.
Heroes do not die as long as they are remembered.
