According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On the procedure for calculating time on the territory of Ukraine", in 2017, daylight saving time starts in Ukraine on the last Sunday of March – that is on the night of 25 to 26 of March.
It is assumed that at 3 am on March 26, Ukraine will set forward clocks one hour, the dnepr.info informs.
Recall that due to misinterpretation by some journalists of the Order of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade on the abolition of daylight saving time in October 2016, last autumn, the media started spreading false information that the change of time in Ukraine was abolished. Then, the government clarified that daylight saving time is canceled every year by an individual decision, so the autumn order was in force only until this spring.
Besides Ukraine, change of time is performed in more than 80 countries. Japan, India, China, Singapore and most of the former Soviet Union, including Russia refused from daylight saving time.
