As a result of the attack of unknown people on the Roma camp, one person died and several were wounded. This was reported by the Lviv police.
On June 23, at 23:30, in the forest on the outskirts of Lviv (on Truskavetska street), a group of unknown persons wearing masks attacked a Gypsy camp.
Four people sufferred knife wounds, one person was killed. "The investigative team, officers of other police departments of Lviv region immediately arrived at the scene. The police detained seven people involved in the attack. Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the event, the issue of opening a criminal proceeding is being decided", – the law enforcement officers said.
The Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Regional State Administration reported that four people sufferred knife injuries during the attack, namely:
– a resident of the city of Mukachevo of Transcarpathian region, born in 1999, was hospitalized in the Lviv City Hospital No. 8;
– a resident of Mukachevo district, Transcarpathian region, born in 1994 – death before the arrival of ambulance;
– a resident of Mukachevo district, Transcarpathian region, born in 1988 – outpatient treatment;
– a resident of Mukachevo district, Transcarpathian region, born in 2008 – outpatient treatment.
The circumstances of the incident are being established, – the police department of Lviv region informs.
