In Kyiv, a thief from Transcarpathia robbed a woman from Vinnytsia region and got caught (PHOTOS)

The thief stole a purse with money from a resident of Vinnytsia region.

According to the press service of the Main Office of the National Police in Kyiv, the victim appealed to the police at the station Kyiv-Passenger.

Law enforcement officers immediately watched the footage from CCTV cameras and identified the thief.

"Within a few minutes, police officers found and detained the thief. During the search, they found the victim’s purse", – the report reads.

As it turned out, the woman was a resident of Transcarpathia, she had been previously prosecuted for thefts in the capital.

The proceeding was opened under Part 2 of Art. 185 of the CCU, ie theft committed repeatedly or by prior conspiracy by a group of persons. For that, the Transcarpathian faces up to 5 years in prison.
