Khust is preparing for the Day of the City, which this year will be celebrated with performances of folk groups, workshops of craftsmen, honoring of the winners of the city rating "City Pride", sporting events, entertainment, disco and fireworks.
Khust residents and guests will be celebrating for two days – 11 and 12 of May. The festivities will begin on Saturday, May 11, with the opening of art gallery exhibition "Khust through the eyes of artists."
Already in the afternoon, on the central square, the international folklore festival "White Daffodils" will begin, which takes place in the framework of the ENPI CBC Hungary – Slovakia – Romania – Ukraine 2007-2013 "Snina – Khust – together for the development of tourism in the Carpathian biosphere area."
This day in Khust, the V traditional festival – meeting of wheelchair disabled "Narcissus Valley" and the sport competitions will be held.
"Rainbow over the Tisa" festival will bring together talented young singers.
Traditionally, the celebration will conclude with the disco and fireworks.
