In the village of Koshelevo in Khust district, a resident of Ternopil lost control of the car GAZ-66, drove into a ditch and overturned.
The driver and his passenger, who is also a resident of Ternopil, with numerous injuries were delivered by an ambulance to the hospital where the victims were given medical care.
The driver’s blood sample was taken for alcohol content, and the passenger was hospitalized in the intensive care unit. The car was delivered to the impound lot of the city police.
– According to Art.286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of traffic safety or operation of transport rules by persons who are driving", this incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations – the first deputy chief of Khust police Vasyl Hrychka informed.
