On August 18, at 14:10, the Operational Rescue Service received a report of a fire on Sadova street in the village of Zolotarevo in Khust District, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region informs. A street facility of a 56-year-old citizen was burning.
A crew of the 10th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Khust consisting of eight personnel members and two vehicles was sent to eliminate the fire.
Already at 14:50, the fire was localized, but its complete elimination took more than three hours. At 18:25 the work was completed. The firefighting was complicated by 5 tons of hay stockpiled in the attic of the building.
The material damage and the cause of the fire are being established. The fire destroyed 140 square meters of the roof, 5 tons of hay, 2 cubic meters of boards and damaged the porch of the building.
Nobody was injured and killed in the fire.
