In June, Transcarpathians will be able to fly to Cologne and Tel Aviv from Kosice

The offers of the airport in Kosice, Slovakia, which is only one hundred kilometers from Uzhgorod, in summer will expand with new destinations. They were presented in the press center of the newspaper "Nedilya" by the Marketing Director of the International Airport "Kosice" Juraj Toth.

In particular, starting from June 24, passengers will be able fly to Tel Aviv just for 35 euros. Direct flights to this Israeli city this summer will be made twice a week – on Mondays and Fridays.  And the next day, June 25, the first plane to Cologne (Germany) will fly from the airport "Kosice".

The flights will also me made twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays, and their price will be as low as 20 euros. Both flights will be provided by Wizz Air – the largest low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe.

On May 13, the team of the airport "Košice" will visit Uzhgorod to participate in the international football tournament to be attended by the teams of the airports "Prague" and "Uzhgorod".

Another guest – Advisor to the Mayor of Kosice on international cooperation Edward Buras – told about international cooperation and implementation of bilateral projects. In particular, he summarized the results of the "Days of Ukraine in Kosice" which took place on 19-27 of April. According to him, six thousand Ukrainians took part in various activities (cultural, sporting, tourist and business).

In addition, "Days of Ukraine in Kosice" traditionally were accompanied by various concerts of folk groups from both countries and exhibitions.

A separate day was devoted to Ukrainian cuisine. So, Slovaks had the opportunity to try Ukrainian national dishes – borscht and cabbage rolls.
