In July, deflation was recorded in Transcarpathia

In July, 0.4% deflation was recorded in Transcarpathia.

Throughout the country, the deflation index was 1%. Prices for food in the region dropped by 1%, for clothing and footwear – by 2.7%.

Meanwhile, prices for alcoholic drinks and cigarettes have increased by 1.1%, and for restaurant and hotel services – by 1.5%.

Overall, since the beginning of the year, the inflation rate in the region amounts to 41.1%.
