Officers of Irshava police quickly identified and found the man who had robbed a grocery store in the district center.
Yesterday, June 4, the police received a report of a theft from a shop at a market in Irshava. The investigative team at the scene found out that an unknown person had broken into the trading facility through the window and stolen 5,000 UAH worth of food and alcoholic beverages.
The police officers found the offender on the same day. The thief was a 29-year-old local resident. Physical evidence was seized.
A criminal proceeding over this incident was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code, ie burglary. This offense is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to six years.
