In Chop, the UC and KMKS received the majority of seats in the council

15 out of 26 seats in Chop city council went to the "United Center" (8 members) and "KMKS-Party of Hungarians of Ukraine" (7 members).  The pro-government "Solidarnist" won 5 seats, "Vidrodzhennya", "Nash Krai" and "Opposition bloc" will have 2 seats each.

A representative of the "Solidarnist" Valeriy Samardak was elected as the mayor of Chop. The former Mayor Galina Tsar was elected to the city council from the "United Center".
