In Chop, a Ukrainian lost cigarettes and a car

Last night, thanks to vigilant border guards, who served at the international checkpoint "Tisa", another one of our fellows lost his car because of a violation of the law.

The car "SEAT Althea", registered in Ukraine and driven by a citizen of Ukraine, was heading through the checkpoint "Tisa" to Hungary. However, during the the necessary procedures for crossing the border, the border guards had doubts about the car. Law enforcement officers immediately prepared a statement for an in-depth examination of the vehicle together with representatives of the customs.

As a result of the inspection of the car, in the design features of the luggage compartment under the decorative coating they found hidden cigarettes MINSK 5 SUPERSLIMS made in the Republic of Belarus. The total number of discovered cigarettes was 408 packs.

The cigarettes and the car were seized according to the established procedure and assessed at 116,000 UAH.
