In Bushtyno, a car driver hit a cyclist and fled the scene

At night, at 00.30 o’clock, Tyachiv District Police received a telephone message from a resident of the village of Bushtyno that on Holovna Street an accident had happened, in which the driver of an unknown vehicle had hit a cyclist. The injuried pensioner, resident of the village of Vonihovo was taken to the trauma department of Tyachiv district hospital and diagnosed with a tear-contused wound of a hairy part of the head, alcoholic intoxication.

The police found out that around 23.30, the pedestrian, while being intoxicated, was moving along the roadway in the direction of the city of Khust, holding his bicycle. An unidentified car, possibly "VAZ-2107", hit him. The driver fled the scene.  During the examination of the accident scene, shards of a car windshield were found.
