Today, due to fallout of the 2-month norm of rainfall on the weekend, the water level in the Uzh rose significantly, flooding the banks of the river and some areas of the Bozdosh park.
As you know, much of the one of the favorite parks in Uzhgorod has long been overgrown with shrubs. Over the years, garbage has been accumulated in these seemingly impenetrable shrubs.
After the rise of the water level, everything that had been accumulated there has floated up. The debris brought by the water also added up.
Now, right from the Slovyanska embankment, one can see branches, plastic bottles and bags stuck between the crowns of the flooded trees.
Obviously, after the water level drops back to normal, most of this garbage will remain in the neglected parts of the park indefinitely.
