In Beregovo, utility workers found an old explosive

In Beregovo district, bomb disposal technicians destroyed two anti-tank mines 

According to the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, on October 5 at 12:25, the Rescue Service received a report that explosives had been found in Beregove. As it turned out, employees of the local water utility were cleaning the sewer on the Demyanych street when a tractor dug up two suspicious metal objects along with earth.

A bomb disposal unit from the Emergency Rescue Detachment arrived at the scene. Experts identified the two items as World War II anti-tank mines. After inspecting the surrounding area, bomb disposal technicians found no more munition. The mines were transported to the former military training ground in the village of Kidyosh, where they were destroyed.
