In Beregovo, Rakoczi square was blocked because of suspicious objects (PHOTOS)

Today, December 29, at 11 o’clock, a resident of Beregovo reported to the police that he had found suspicious boxes in the district center on Ferenc Rakoczi Street. The investigative team, patrol police, explosive experts arrived at the scene and found out that unknown persons had left cardboard boxes at the monument of the "Holy Mother of God" on Rakoczi square. The police immediately notified rescuers and all relevant services.

Policemen cordoned off the square and ensured public order. Explosive experts checked the suspicious boxes and did not found any dangerous objects inside. The police are establishing the identity of the person, who left those boxes, and determining the legal classification of the incident.
