In Beregovo district, a physical education teacher hit a teenager who had allegedly beaten his son

The criminal proceeding over this fact has been initiated.
 
A 40-year-old resident of the village of Bakosh in Beregovo district filed a statement with Beregovo district police department. The mother 8 requested to take measures regarding the physical education teacher of Batyevo school who had hit her 16-year-old son.
 
The investigative team arrived to the village.  According to the boy, in the afternoon, he was heading to a local shop and on the way there he met a local resident who works as a teacher of physical education in the neighboring village of Batyevo. He ran into the boy with allegations that he had beaten his son. Then he punched the boy in the neck…
 
This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Part 1 of Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional minor bodily harm). The teacher faces a fine in the amount of up to 50 tax-free minimum incomes, community service for up to 200 hours, or correctional labor for up to one year.
 
The boy was sent for forensics examination to establish the degree of injuries.
