On Saturday, at 16.10, the dispatcher of the emergency medical care unit of Beregovo district hospital reported to Beregovo District Police that they had been called to Mukachivska street in Beregovo, where in the garden near the house, they had found a dead female pensioner with signs of violent death from injuries in the head.
The corpse was found by her partner. According to the preliminary conclusion of the examination, the cause of death is an open head injury with fracture of the cranial vault and injury to brain substance.
At the scene of the crime, they found a metal rod of 51 cm in length, 20 mm in diameter, with stains of brown color, similar to blood.
