In April, Ukraine imported 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas

In April, the amount of gas imported to Ukraine from Europe and Russia was 1.473 billion cubic meters.

This was stated by the press service of the "Ukrtransgaz".

As noted, most of the natural gas came from Europe – 1.178 billion cubic meters.

"In April, the supply of natural gas from Russia amounted to 0.3 billion cubic meters, which is 3% less than that in the previous month," – it is said the statement.

In total, in January-April this year, Ukraine received from Europe 4.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

"For comparison, in 2014, 5.1 billion cubic meters of gas was imported to Ukraine from Europe", – the press-service informed.
