The Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic is traditionally preparing several different Christmas concert programs. And the first of them will be presented already on December 9 under the title "Noel". Noel is the name of Christmas in France. And Per Noel is a good wizard (or angel), a Christmas folk character in French-speaking countries like our St. Nicholas, who gives children presents on Christmas Eve. The participants of the concert will try to recreate this sweet, warm atmosphere, which usually prevails in the family circle during this festive season. Those are Honored Artists of Ukraine Yana Sadvariy and Oleksandr Sadvariy, the vocal duet of Tetyana and Serhiy Rakhovskies, the chamber instrumental ensemble "Hungarian Melodies" (head – Honored Artist of Ukraine Diana Havata) and the brass orchestra of the Philharmonic (head – Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Spivak). And of course, on that day, they will perform our favorite Ukrainian carols, the world-famous Christmas songs, as well as other light, lyrical tunes that traditionally accompany this holiday.
