This was reported by the current Acting Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Shchadey on his page in the social network facebook, informing of the current trial on the claim of Victor Pogorelov on the motion of no confidence passed against him in February, during the session of the City Council.
As you know, after a vote of no confidence by deputies of the City Council against Victor Pogorelov, with his subsequent removal from the office, the latter filed a suit in court, because of alleged illegality of the decision and his removal from the office of the mayor – Zakarpattya online informs.
The hearing for the said suit was scheduled for today, during which it turned out that the ex-mayor, besides reinstatement in the chair of the Mayor, also demands the payment of his salary for the last 7 months.
"The man must be living in some parallel world. Audacity of all those pogorelovs, shufrichs, yefremovs knows no bounds. Therefore, we must do everything to make them understand – they will never return to power, neither through courts, nor through elections. Therefore, we need to stick together – for conflicts and disputes between us only please our opponents and give them confidence," – the current Acting Mayor Victor Shchadey wrote about it on his page on the social network Facebook.
