For the first time, 14 crews from all over the region took part in an improvised race and 5 nominations at the Uzhgorod Emergency Medical Aid Station and the Transcarpathian Territorial Center of Emergency Medical Aid.
The Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Petik, the acting director of the Department of Health of the Regional State Administration Tetyana Mitsyo, the First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Yosyp Borto and the Director and Transcarpathian Territorial Center of Emergency Medical Aid Tomash Bilynets congratulated the participants of the competition and noted the importance of their work.
Each district of the region delegated its best team to the competition. Each one competed in 5 nominations: "the smartest", which included theoretical tests for doctors and paramedics, "virtuoso driver" for ambulance driving skills, and in three other simulated situations.
Katerina Irkha saw the parade of virtuosos.
One of the simulated situations was a road accident with victims.
Since the situations were as close to real conditions as possible, judges noted the professionalism of the paramedics.
The best teams received cups, medals, and the top three teams – from Mizhhirya, Svalyava and Uzhgorod – received cash prizes.
