According to the oral information received today from the customs authorities of Slovakia (Michalovce customs), in the event of a coronavirus pandemic in the country, the following border crossing points to Ukraine will be closed:
Ubl’a – Maly Berezny, Mat’ovce – Pavlove, Velke Slemence – Mali Selmentsi.
Vysne Nemecke – Uzhgorod and Cierna nad Tisou – Chop will remain open.
Slovakia is preparing for this, but has no plans to declare a pandemic at the moment. There are currently 7 confirmed cases of the disease in Slovakia. 1 case is 100 km from Uzhgorod in Kosice.
