In Nyzhni Vorota and in Mukachevo, the police detained a truck with wood with questionable documents. The investigation is ongoing.
Yesterday, January 20, at the police checkpoint in the village of Nyzhni Vorota in Volovets district, the police stopped a truck with wood.
During the inspection of documents, it was found out that 29-year-old driver, an employee of a private firm from Lviv district, was carrying 22 cubic meters of oak wood.
The documents for the cargo were not properly made out. There were no forestry identification markings.
The driver explained that he was carrying the wood to Perechyn.
On the same day, patrol policemen detained a truck ZIL with 7 cubic meters of chipped wood in Mukachevo . An investigative team arrived at the scene. As it turned out, the driver had no supporting documents for the wood.
The investigation over these facts continues.
