Police officers of the patrol police response sector of the Svalyava department found and confiscated 115 poppy plants in the homestead of a resident of the village of Nelipyno.
The fact of illegal cultivation of drug-containing plant was also documented by officers of the Perechyn Police Department. Policemen found about a hundred poppy stalks on the land of a resident of the village of Dubrynychi. The plants were confiscated by law enforcement officers and sent for examination.
The resident of Svalyava district is subject to criminal liability under Article 310 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the resident of Perechyn district is subject to administrative liability.
