Illegal immigrants in a taxi were detained at a checkpoint in Transcarpathia (VIDEO)

In Nyzhni Vorota, Transcarpathian police together with officers of the Mukachevo border guard detachment stopped a car "VAZ". The driver, a resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region, was carrying four illegal immigrants aged 20 to 30 years. They were moving towards Mukachevo.

The "tourists" had no IDs or documents giving the right to stay in Ukraine. They explained that they were residents of Sri Lanka and had come to Ukraine in search of a better and safer life.

The citizens of Sri Lanka were referred to the Mukachevo border guard detachment.
