Illegal and prohibited construction near the “Uzhgorod” hotel is in full swing (Photofacts)

Residents of neighboring houses are completely astounded – despite the ban by supervisory authorities and inspectorates, the construction behind the "Uzhgorod" hotel continues as if nothing had happened.

Late last year, the State Architectural and Building Inspetorate banned the construction at Donsky street, 2B, and ordered the developer to bring the project documentation, which was originally made with gross violations, in line with the requirements.

Moreover, there is still a transformer substation at the site where the building is being erected. According to residents of neighboring houses, the "Zakarpattyapoblenerho" had to move it to another location long time ago – it is a direct threat to human life and health.

However, all that did not stop the construction work.Now residents of the houses bordering to the construction site are going to sue the developer.

Recall that this construction began in October and despite the failure to comply with almost all existing technical specifications, it inexplicably continues even today.

Every day people work there, and when a reporter tried to come closer and make a photo, an older man came out and said that photographing the building was prohibited.
