In the "Uzhgorod" gallery, on Svoboda Avenue 7/26, recently there was the opening of the exhibition of paintings by the Transcarpathian member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Miroslav Hresko. It is timed to the 65th anniversary of the author, which he celebrated on March 6.
The exhibition features about three dozen paintings, most of which are landscapes and still lifes. There are also works in which the author interpreted the famous iconographic images.
Mr. Miroslav is a painter and a monumental painting artist. He comes from Ivano-Frankivsk region (the village of Tyaziv in Tysmenytsya district). He graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute in 1977 (the course of the professor A.O.Dobrovolsky. Specialty teachers – O.Pianida, M.Popov).
From 1980 to 2004 Miroslav Hresko worked in Ivano-Frankivsk Artistic and Production Plant.
The exhibition will last about two weeks.
