Transcarpathian policemen detained two trucks with illegal wood in Volovets and Mizhhirya districts. The incident occurred on April 15, the Department of Communications of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region informs.
Thus, at the post in Nyzhni Vorota, the police stopped a truck carrying 38 cubic meters of spruce. The driver, a 40-year-old resident of Mizhhirya district, had no chips and electronic seals for the cargo. To escape responsibility, he offered the police 250 UAH.
Another incident occurred at the post Soimy in Khust district. Here, the driver was carrying 10 cubic meters of pine needles without supporting documents. The police suspected that the consignment note was fake. This fact will be investigated, and those responsible for stealing of wood will be punished.
