Last night, there was a storm in Transcarpathia, the village of Syurte was affected the most: the hurricane toppled trees, concrete pillars and tore roofs off the houses.
According to the Rescue Service in Transcarpathia, as a result of the bad weather 95 roofs of residential buildings were damaged, one on a village council building, 2 on kindergartens and 1 on a school in the villages of Uzhgorod and Irshava districts.
Two residents of the village of Syurte in Transcarpathia suffered from the bad weather. Also, the rescuers recorded 11 cases of trees falling on the road.
14 units of equipment and 56 rescuers were employed for accident relief.
As of 6:30, 26 settlements in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Khust, Irshava, Svalyava, Tyachiv and Volovets districts remain without electricity supply.
