At the international checkpoint "Chop (Tisa)," on the border with Hungary, border guards of the Chop detachment together with employees of the customs office found cartridges and capsules to hunting weapons.
Upon the arrival of the minibus "Mercedes" with Ukrainian license plate driven by our compatriot, border guards began its inspection. However, considering the somewhat nervous behavior of the driver, a special dog trained to search for weapons and ammunition was used in the inspection. During further inspection of the vehicle, the dog gave a signal and then it was decided to conduct an in-depth examination of the car. As a result, "in the depths" of the minibus luggage compartment, among other items, they found a cardboard box with 1,850 cartridges and capsules for hunting weapons without powder charge.
Those items were seized according to the law.
