According to a decree issued by the Hungarian government on Thursday, citizens of the Czech Republic, Poland, the Republic of Korea, Germany, Austria and Slovakia are free to enter Hungary for commercial purposes. Upon entry, they must confirm the purpose of the business trip, the publication MyHungary.Net informs.
This measure also applies to Hungarian nationals who make business trips to those six countries if they are employees of foreign firms or Hungarian companies having business relations with another company incorporated in at least one of those six countries. Upon returning from a business trip, Hungarian citizens no longer need to undergo home quarantine.
Until now, citizens crossing the country’s border, had to undergo a medical examination, and in case of suspected COVID-19 infection, they were quarantined, if there were no symptoms, they had to observe self-isolation for 14 days.
