This weekend the Hungarian special tourist train "TRANSCARPATHIA Express" is in Vynogradiv district. The route of the nostalgia train runs through railways of 4 countries. Previously an official press conference was held, which was attended by Hungarian Consul General in Beregovo Istvan Tovt, head of the transport industry committee Bela Molnar, who is the organizer of the "Transcarpathian Express", Deputy Chairman of Vinogradiv DSA Mykhailo Rusanyuk and journalists.
Project proponent, former deputy of the Hungarian Parliament Bela Molnar said that this is the fourth meeting of Hungarian tourists and thus symbolical union of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire countries. However, the main objective of the project is the development of tourism and promotion of cultural and natural values of the Carpathian Basin.
Widely announced Transcarpathian railway tourist route yesterday hosted guests in Vinogradiv. Musical folk group welcomed the nostalgia train, and the train station was decorated with state and national flags. On the platform the passengers were greeted with symbol of Ukrainian hospitality – bread and salt and welcome speech. This year, there are more passengers – 400 tourists and members of the official delegation.
While staying in Vynogradiv district tourists used the services of green and rural tourism – they lived at locals.
