Despite the veneer of diversity, tourism is still saturated with repetitive proposals from both agencies and from providers of these services. Probably because of this, any events that differ from the "standard" are very popular.
The "Oldtimer Show" in Budapest, where for three days the visitors will be able to see real veterans of the auto industry, is going to be just like that.
The venue of the exhibition is also special, as the show will be held in the Railway Museum, where one will be able to visit all the exhibitions of the museum.
By the way, in Hungary, the railway is an extremely popular means of transportation. For fast trains in a very short time can take passengers to the farthest end of the country. Paradoxically, but that railway is the most popular form of transportation for … cyclists. Last year, for example, Hungarian railway carried 600,000 bikes.
Obviously, the advertising and creative activity of Hungarian railway workers helps to actively promote such a popularity. For example, the state company MAV throughout the calendar year, organizes theme travels: the nearest one is a three-hour journey with a candlelight dinner on Valentine day. Retro fans have the opportunity to travel to Vishegrad, and in the afternoon return to Budapest.
Everyone who is not indifferent to the travel and history should visit the exhibition of retro cars from 15 to 17 March at the address: 1146 Budapest, Cházár A. u. 2 / A IX / 4.,
The entrance fee is 100 UAH for an adult, 70 UAH for a child.
