How will Ukrainian neurosurgery develop? Volodymyr Smolanka will tell

July 2, at 11.00, there will be the press conference by Professor Volodymyr Smolanka, the director of the Transcarpathian Center of Neurosurgery and Neurology, the Head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Committee on Health Matters.

       Last week, Transcarpathian Professor Volodymyr Smolanka was elected the president of the Ukrainian Association of Neurosurgeons. This occured at the fifth Congress of Neurosurgeons of Ukraine, which took place from 25 to 28 of June in Uzhgorod.

      Volodymyr Smolanka will tell about the results of the Congress of Neurosurgeons of Ukraine, his plans as the President of the Association and will answer to questions from reporters.

The Association unites nearly 800 neurosurgeons in 32 cells. The organization was established on November 26, 1993 in Kyiv at the first Congress of Neurosurgeons Ukraine. At the 11th International Congress of Neurosurgeons, held in July 1997 in Amsterdam, the Ukrainian Association of Neurosurgeons was accepted to the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies and the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.
