How Uzhgorod “Lumberjacks” defeated Kyiv “Patriot” (PHOTOS)

In the regular football championship of Ukraine, Uzhgorod "Lumberjacks" played the second home game with Kyiv" Patriots" 

For the second time, the home arena was the municipal stadium in the village of Baranyntsi in Uzhgorod district. The match had a charitable purpose: the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers together with athletes decided to give all the funds raised at the match for the treatment of Yevheniya Napuda – a volunteer, librarian of the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library.   They managed to raise 5,452 UAH.

The "Lumberjacks" played like true champions. The Uzhgorod team defeated the team from Kyiv with a score of 38:7! 

So this is another confident step toward the goal for the "Lumberjacks": defense of the title of Ukraine’s champions! 

Thanks to our athletes for the game, for the struggle, for making Uzhgorod known on the highest sports arena of the country and for their support of volunteerism! Together we are strong!
