The Parliament granted the appeal of the Prosecutor General for prosecution of a deputy from the "Will of the People" Oleksandr Onishchenko.
275 MPs voted for it.
Onishchenko was absent in the hall.
As you know, before that the procedural committee of the Verkhovna Rada gave consent for prosecution of Onishchenko, but decided that the arrest of the deputy would be "premature."
Onishchenko denied all charges against him.
After that, 265 deputies voted for the appeal on detention of Onishchenko.
Despite previous concerns, MPs also consented to the arrest of the deputy – 263 deputies voted for it.
