How the UZhNU will celebrate the beginning of the academic year

The program of the celebration of the Day of Knowledge was published on the official site of Uzhgorod National University. 
  The events will be taking place for three days – from August 31 to September 2: 
On August 31, 2018, 
10:00 – A solemn assembly dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and the induction of freshmen (Universytetska st., 14 (near the main building of UzhNU)). 
September 1, 2019 
9:00 – Divine Liturgy to mark the beginning of the new academic year. 
– Uzhgorod Cathedral (Greek Catholic Church).

– Holy Transfiguration Church (Ukrainian Orthodox Church).

– St. George’s Church (Roman Catholic Church).

16:00 – Study tour of the city of Uzhgorod (Teatralna sq., 8 (near the stage)). 
18:30 – Festive show program (Universytetska st., 14 (near the main building of UzhNU)): competitions, bright music and dance numbers, an open-air disco (Dj Space). 
September 2, 2019 
8:00 – First lecture “From Proclamation of Independence to New Ukraine. The Origins and Stages of Formation of UzhNU". Source.
