The Council Chairman Mykhailo Rivis suggested to open the meeting with a minute of silence – in honor of the three killed countrymen. Then, Iryna Halay from Mukachevo – the first Ukrainian woman, who conquered the Mount Everest – was presented joint award of the Regional Council and the Regional State Administration "For the development of Transcarpathia".
Also, at the plenary meeting, 35 deputies voted for the appointment of Petro Hrytsyk as the Deputy Chairman of the Council.
