How the Constitution Day and the 74th anniversary of the accession of Transcarpathia to Ukraine will be celebrated in Uzhgorod

On June 28, the 23rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine will be celebrated, and on June 29, it will be 74 years since the signing of the Treaty between the USSR and the Czechoslovak Republic in Moscow, according to which Transcarpathia reunited with Ukraine and was included in the Ukrainian SSR.

On the occasion of these memorable dates, celebrations will take place in Uzhgorod. Today, June 26, at 16.00, an exhibition of works by members of the regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine on the occasion of the Constitution Day and the accession of the region to Ukraine will be opened in the "Uzhgorod" gallery.

On Thursday, June 27, at 11.00, on Narodna Square, officials will take part in the solemn laying of flowers to the monument to Taras Shevchenko.

Attention, drivers! Parking and traffic on the road near the monument to Kobzar will be prohibited until afternoon on June 27th.
