On the Orikhovtsia training ground, a convoy of soldiers and Natinal Guard was ambushed by saboteurs and separatists. This is how the events unfolded during the combined military exercises. First, the convoy of soldiers, the National Guard, and the police moved through the city to the territory of the training ground.
At the training ground, the convoy was suddenly blocked by "locals" who were protesting and provoking the soldiers. However, the National Guard forces managed to neutralize and detain the protesters. Then the convoy was ambushed by a sabotage and reconnaissance group, which was neutrilized by fighters of the Armed Forces. The training finished with joint shooting exercises using Kalashnikov rifles.
According to the initiator of the exercise, Uzhgorod military commissar Mykola Zhuravlev, the purpose of the exercise was to rehearse the actions in situations that occur in the ATO area. In total, about 70 soldiers, police officers, National Guards, representatives of the territorial defense battalion, military department of UzhNU and activists took part in the exercise.
