How much is it allowed to import without paying extra?

Under the new Customs Code (CC), the right to import duty-free goods worth up to 1,000 EUR can be used only by air transport passengers. The baggage, carried across the border by other means of transport, is not a subject to taxation in the case if the cost does not exceed 500 euro.

Mailing fee barrier is even lower – up to 300 euro. VAT will be added to the sum which exceeds the established duty-free threshold, according to UBR.
