1261 persons have addressed to the Transcarpathian regional headquarters on social security of citizens who have moved from the territory of the ATO and Crimea.
On Thursday, August 28, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Valeriy Lunchenko attended a meeting of the Interagency Coordinating Headquarters and the meeting with heads of district headquarters on issues related to the social welfare of citizens of Ukraine who have moved from the temporarily occupied territories and the area of the antiterrorist operation.
As of 28.08.14, in the region, there are 1039 people who have moved from the eastern regions and 222 – from the Crimea. All citizens are provided with temporary housing. By the decision of the Regional Headquarters, local authorities together with the Office of the State Emergencies Service in Transcarpathian region conducted an inventory of buildings, their certification for compliance with technical requirements for accommodation of internally displaced persons, the issue of transportation of the citizens to places of location, accommodation and catering.
Most people, who have moved from the East and the Crimea, are located in Uzhgorod district – 504 people, Mukachevo district – 366 people, Khust district – 66 people.
During the meeting, they also discussed the regulatory framework for the registration of IDPs, readiness to the beginning of the school year and provision of citizens with all necessary conditions in the autumn and winter period.
