How many days off and holidays will we have in May?

There will be two public holidays in Ukraine in May – Labor Day and Victory Day. According to the calendar, Ukrainians will have 12 official days off in 2020, the 24 TV informs.

If a holiday is on a Saturday or Sunday, the day off is carried over to Monday. 

There will be 19 business days and 12 days off in May. May 1 is Labor Day, which is on a Friday, so there will be 3 days off in a row. Victory Day, May 9, is on Saturday, thus, the day off will be carried over to Monday. Thus, Ukrainians will have long weekends.
