How external testing will be organized in Transcarpathia

This was announced during a briefing by the head of the Department of Education and Science of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hanna Sopkova. Not only this year’s graduates, but also previous years’ ones, as well as graduates of vocational schools and universities of I-II level of accreditation will take part in the external testing.

– The difficulty of this year’s external testing is in complience with safety measures, – Hanna Sopkova said. – Applicants will have their temperature measured at the entrance to the external testing points, and they will have to wear protective masks.

Despite the fact that urban, intercity and regional transport should be launched in Ukraine before the beginning of the external testing, the vast majority of school graduates will have to be taken to testing points, and this should be ensured by local authorities. Information on transport to get to the external testing points should be found out from school principals.
As for the students of other grades, they will all receive report cards online. For students of 4th and 9th grades, the FCE was abolished this year. These children will not take the final certifying examination.

– 9th grade graduates will receive a certificate of basic secondary education on time. All these documents will arrive from Kyiv by June 15 and will be handed to each child, – Hanna Sopkova said.

It is also worth noting that a trial EIT will take place on June 15 and 176,200 people have registered for it this year. It will also take place in compliance with all quarantine measures.
